MS desktop systems has a limit        TM> how many simultanious network connections it can handle (max 10 on XP, 20        TM> W7), and that may very well be part of Rudi's ftp issue with his BBBS on X              Where are you getting this max connection limit? I ask because I've run ftp        servers on XP pro which had more than 50 users at one time logged in and        leeching away. At the same time, I had an irc client running which was        providing DCC hosting services; having multiple connections all day long.              Are you sure you aren't confusing adhoc LAN network limitations?              ... I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy.              --- Renegade v1.19/Alpha        * Origin: The Titantic BBS Telnet - ttb.slyip.com (1:129/305)    |
