Appache will have the exact same issue, and will even "eat"       from the 10 user limitation if it runs on the same box as BBBS. Keep in mind       that if you are connectet to BBBS with the web interface, and tries to start       an ftp session, a new network connection is required in addition to the http       connection, so in essence a web connection from BBBS requiring an ftp       connection, will take 2 out of you 10 connections. And then you have other       system connecting to the same box? It does not add up Rudi. You will run out       of network capacity on your XP box.              Go to Windows Server or Linux, and you may find a better solution for ANY type       of BBS or web/ftp system.       A Windows workstation (NT, 2000, XP. 7 or 8) with limited network capacity       will never go well with running a BBS system or a public web/ftp server.              good luck              rgds       Torbjorn              --- BBBS/NT v4.10 Dada-1        * Origin: Circle Of Protection (2:211/37)    |
