Under linux, I don't have that problem.. I just tell bbbs       JK> to use the port I want to use for the web daemon, and the ftp daemon.. This still       JK> bothers Rudi, though, and some others..              This is a normal function for FTP. I run pureftpd here on linux, and in       order to accept passive connections you have to open passive ports. I use       20000-20005. Have you ever tried to connect to your BBBS FTP server in       passive mode from somewhere outside your network?              Either way, opening port 21 for FTP should accept active connections. Rudi       had some other issue there, and it's probably on his side. Unfortunately,       he was too quick to get mad at it and react by switching BBS softwares..       again.              How's the status on that TORNADO echo these days (never added it here)? :)              --- Mystic BBS v1.10 A20 (Linux)        * Origin: thePharcyde_ http://www.pharcyde.org (Wisconsin) (1:154/10.1)    |
