   When I get a chance I will wipe Mint off the problem PC and do a fresh install   
   again of Ubuntu to do further testing. It might be a couple three days yet.   
      
   Currently from this PC a traceroute of www.google.com is 8 hops averaging    
   about 11ms per hop.
