   Yes, the curl and awk lines run exactly right on the Ubuntu command line.  I   
   need to use sprintf since I'm using BBBS's programming language to create a   
   "weather door".   
      
   Hopefully today I can get BBBS to create the shortith file (it's not doing   
   that right now).
