   thanks for the information... i haven't tried those commands yet... i'm   
   considering proposing them with a matching GUI interface for the firewall   
   product i support... using them may perform one of the jobs that the IDS is   
   currently being pressed into service for... if the iptables included in that   
   firewall product can do this particular task, it will be a very nice feature   
   to add to it ;)
