Hi Al,              > I have just setup a linkwith a BBBS system and have a question about BBBSs       > areafix or BRoboCop.              > If I add a tearline (--- ) to a message to areafix will it stop processing       > commands at that point?              > The reason I ask is because my sig has two lines, the first is not likely to       > match anything but the second may very well match a lot of areas.. :)              > If it will stop processing commands after the tearline I'll do it that way,       > if not I'll be sure to disable my sig when talking to BRoboCop.              I really don't know what it will do Lol... but I think you will be ok. It's       in the words/phrases in the _body_ of the message that can cause problems that       I've seen...              If your tagline causes problems, it's no big deal to then send areafix another       message with:              echo -MYSTIC       echo -LINUX              or if you don't want any echomail at all just send in an areafix for file       areas with the file keyword:              file +^pdngo              (links all the pdngo areas)              > --- Mystic BBS v1.12 A13 (Linux)       > * Origin: The Rusty MailBox - Penticton, BC Canada (1:153/757)              I figure those are the lines you worried about? I think BBBS will ignore info       in the tagline, Origin area of course.              Take care,       Janis              --- BBBS/Li6 v4.10 Dada-2        * Origin: Prism bbs (1:261/38)    |
