I think I found a workaround. My goal was to make one of the 2TB drives as a
replacement to the original /home directory. Seems Ubuntu is touchy in how
that process is accomplished. I found that if I setup my necessary new
partitions. Edit FSTAB to mount the new partition as /media/home temporarily
and remount all drives. Then use RSYNC to move everything from /home into
/media/home. Then edit FSTAB again so the new partition mounts as /home instead
of /media/home then move /home to /old_home (Just in case) and remount all
drives. My /home directory is now actually located on the 2TB HD instead of
the original boot drive. Didn't have to change ownership or permissions
either. Now for some more testing prior to moving BBBS over.

I now currently have Ubuntu installed on three 64 bit machines. Two are v15.04
and one is v14.10. This is still a learning curve for me as I grew up with
DOS, then DesqView, then OS/2, then Netware, then Windows and THEN Linux.
