   I had this happen last week... my error was caused by a silly typo.. I use   
     > (out to) and   
     < (in from)   
   to indicate uplinks/downlinks and I neglected to give someone the < (in from,   
   or uplink) ...so when his file came in from him, it wouldn't toss.  You can   
   check that out at least :)   
      
   Like say for fidonews:   
      
   F FIDONEWS    /home/ftp/pub/fidonews/    1:261/38 VA  >C1:18/200 >19/33 >116/18   
   <1:298/25   
      
   The last node there being the uplink..   
      
   Maybe that was the kind of typo you had as well? If that's not the problem, we   
   can look at other things...
