Hello All,              Although not technically a BBBS issue. Here is a weird one. I was installing       Ubuntu on a 64bit Intel PC before I was to move BBBS over. The other Ubuntu PC       wasn't quite fast enough for my liking. But I could not get Ubuntu to use        integrated Realtek NIC. It could see it and the correct drivers were       installed. Ubuntu acted as if the cable wasn't plugged in. Even though it was.       Now the weird part. If I unplugged the USB keyboard and mouse the NIC worked       fine. As I see it it wasn't really a Ubuntu issue even though the prior OS       (Windows 8.1) didn't have any problem with the setup. Reinstalled the USB       drivers and now Ubuntu is happy and connected.              Jeff              --- BBBS/Li6 v4.10 Dada-2        * Origin: Prism bbs (1:261/38)    |
