   You are "picking on an old brain here", and I'm not sure if this is of any   
   help, because my memory MAY serve me wrong here. But back in 1997, I was   
   exchanging QWK packets with an AGNET board, and my recollection is that we   
   used an external reader called 1stReader? It's DOS based. The script logs on   
   to the BBBS system, grabs a QWK packet, and then logs on to the AGMET bord and   
   dumps it, and vice versa. I even have the BBBS script made for it here on my   
   system still.... I also have this one here:

   I may be completely off track here, but couldn't resist replying. Take it for
