   Any tips or suggestions as to a way to limit/avoids telnet login attacks on   
   BBBS?   
      
   Lately I have been getting numerious telnet login attempts by IP's that    
   reversely resolve to Asian countries. The same IP will try to login to all   
   available nodes. No actual login is attempted. Each open node will sit open at   
   the login name prompt.I have been adding up to 5 IP's at a time to the   
   INET.BBB file. Which then blocks those IP's. But there are plenty of other   
   IP's. :-)   
       
   Is there an option in BBBS to limit the seconds that BBBS will wait for a   
   telnet login name before closing and releasing the open node? Right now the   
   open nodes just sit there in an open state. Effectively blocking any future   
   login attempts until the open nodes close or are closed.   
      
   Then there are those few that try to login via telnet as "Root". :-)
