   Np, and thanks go to Sean

   >>>Also, when I try to run native UN*X programs like nethack from the opendoor.

   I'd have to play with nethack and see if I can get it going. Mostly I use
   doors written for bbbs, or for Linux over here.. most of them work (as far as
   I can tell ).

   > Looks simple enough. OS is Cent OS 6.5 x86_64.

   Yes, it does look simple.. this is how I call the linux version of pimpwars
   (really Lol) FWTW:

   char go;
   go=system(sprintf("/home/bbbs/pimp/pimpwars /home/bbbs/pimp/dorinfo%u.def
   %u",bv_nodenumber,bv_nodenumber),1,0);

   It loads, slowly though... just an example of one of the linux doors I call
   with a variable.

   But nethack looks like it should be supported when you look at sysop.txt, or
   sysop.gui:

    Environment variable in the script that runs your bbs:
   BBBSHACK This environment variable should point to a NetHack
    playground, if you want your users to use the 'q hack'-command
    to play NetHack (this requires a modified copy
    of NetHack that the author of BBBS cannot re-distribute).

   Also check the groups file:

   hack users who should be allowed to use the main
    menu command 'hack' to play NetHack.

   I'll try installing nethack this weekend and see if I can get it running...
   who knows Today was crazy.. tomorrow should calmer

   Take care,
   Janis
