To check mine, make sure you dial up filegate.net on port 24555. That is the
   BBBSD server.

The standard port (24554) over here still runs the BinkD mailer (ver.
   binkd/1.0a-396)

Here is the info I have on the latest linux versions:

Updates in 2014 with dates of messages from Kim:

    Updated again.

    > It's mostly a bugfix version:

    Bug fixes:

    - Outgoing BinkP connectivity fix if remote doesn't send SYS line.
    - Misc fixes.

    New features:

    - Incoming FTS-5003 charset kludge support.
    - Linux version supports UTF-8 for local login. It's enabled if your
    - BBBSLANG
or LANG environment variable contains "utf" or "UTF" string (for example
        "en_US.utf8").

And again. Linux update only, it should solve bbbsd's libcrypto.so.10
      problem.

   ====cut here====

So I guess check the date of the one you have... :)

   Take care,
