I'm looking to automate as much of my BBS operations as I can, and I picked up   
   some *old* reference books I used to swear by back in the day.   
      
   I found "Running MS-DOS" and "Supercharging MS-DOS" by Van Wolverton (Microsoft   
   Press) on Amazon for a couple of bucks each. Great references, lots of   
   examples.
