Re:         By: Roger Nelson to All on Fri Mar 20 2015 05:41:16               They left out the part in there about the solar wind anomaly. I can see how       it might solve the mystery of the massive ramp-up in heat produced in the       corona vs. stellar surface if the nanoflares behave properly... However, what       are they going to do about the fact that the solar wind, also, has an anomalous       aspect in that it leaves at a given rate, and _accelerates_ beyond it to higher       speeds?        I think that the nanoflares might be a good clue into things, but I don't       think they're the cause for the anomalous phenomena, I think they're just       another symptom of it. I really like the 'electric sun' model (as I've       mentioned before) for its attempts at trying to describe this behavior,       especially those with the sun as the anode/cathode, which interestingly enough       posits these kinds of anomalies right off the back.        Thank you again for the informational post. I love that solar stuff. :)               -D       --- SBBSecho 2.27-OpenBSD        * Origin: Tinfoil.synchro.net - now at FTN (1:340/200) (1:340/200)    |
