   SOLAR FLARES: Departing sunspot complex AR2565-AR2567 unleashed a pair of   
   rapid-fire solar flares during the early hours of July 23rd. One of them was   
   the strongest flare of the year so far.  The explosions caused shortwave radio   
   blackouts on the dayside of Earth and may have hurled CMEs into space. Visit
