   I don't hate zombies--I'm pretty much indifferent to them (of course,    
   I'd probably feel differently if one was knocking on my door).  And they    
   seem to have become the LCD of monsters--if you can't think of anything    
   scary, throw in a zombie.  It just cheapens the brand (the same thing is    
   happening to vampires as well, but I think they had a stronger pedigree    
   to begin with so the deterioration is slower.  Except in direct    
   sunlight, of course).
