I checked out Panasonic's demo pavilion at our recent Winter   
   Olympics... went through the whole 3D showcase and what not.  Gotta   
   say, sports will be the first big TV production to benefit from it   
   (much as it was for HD).  The ice-level shots of a hockey game were   
   simply amazing.  I hear CBC will be broadcasting at least two Hockey   
   Night in Canada games in 3D this year as well... hmmmm, I'd better be   
   checking my lottery tickets!
