   Having the right to make a decision is not the same thing as having   
   the ability to enforce that right. Harlan has the right to make this   
   decision, and I'm sure any grieving spouse would honour their spouse's   
   wishes unless there was an exceptionally good reason not to.   
   Unless there's some fundamental benefit to life from any particular IP   
   (e.g. a cure for cancer, alternative energy technology, etc.) then   
   normally its creator should be entitled to autonomy over what happens   
   to it. Personally I think it'd be a crying shame if Harlan's   
   unfinished works go to waste, but if they're just entertainment then   
   it should be his choice.
