   Gotham/Apple city happens to be on the ocean.  The actual New York   
   (which is a state not a city) has way more of its coast on fresh water   
   than on salt water.   
      
   The mistake of naming a Republic and Planet the same was already done by   
   the Centari and we know how they fared.  I mean the mistake of naming an   
   empire and a city the same was already done by the Romans and we know   
   how they fared.  Hmmm, if there's a movement to name the real New York   
   the Empire and leave the other name to Apple City I'm all for it but I   
   want the state theme switched to the Darth Vader march as well!  Oops,   
   wrong shows ...
