   Well that was a meta-TV moment.  Whoever did that was recreating a   
   classic moment from "St. Elsewhere", whether he or she meant to or   
   not.  (I'm guessing "meant to".)   
   At some point in the series, the commie-hating Dr. Craig (the always   
   wonderful William Daniels) ended up with a Russian housekeeper.  In   
   one episode he ordered her to say "moose and squirrel. Which she did.   
   In a very deep, heavily-accented, and somewhat puzzled voice.  Craig   
   then nodded slowly and said, "I thought so."  Part of the reaction at   
   the con may have come from "St. Elsewhere" fans recognizing the   
   exchange.
