    That don't make it true. It is amazing what outright falsehoods    
   circulate as "facts". One example - when we came to the States, my    
   daughter was quite seriously taught at school - in homeroom class I    
   believe - that in Bulgaria, the punishment for drunk driving, was    
   execution. Just like that! That didn't seem right to her, and she tried    
   to object, but was pooh-poohed. And she wasn't really sure - it's not    
   stuff third graders pay much attention to. Later, I found that it    
   /really/ was part of some fact sheet that was supposed to be used when    
   teaching the dangers of drunk driving. Which of course makes all other    
   "facts" on that sheet suspect.

    OK, then - I wasn't aware that it was a common misconception, I    
   though that Joe invented it on the fly.
