   Of course, probably his best line was spiked by the Warner Bros.   
   censors at the script stage.  When Rick has Sacha pack the drunken   
   Yvonne home, Renault's line was *supposed* to be:  "How extravagant   
   you are, throwing away women like that. Someday they may be   
   rationed."  In the film he says they may be "scarce", which removes   
   the another dark joke about life under Vichy and potentially under   
   direct Nazi rule.
