   Yeah, I can see that.  Even though I still think Doyle was being more   
   dismissive of O'Hare seeking some kind of da Vinci-like "code" in the   
   scripts than his approach to learning lines, it was still rude.   
   Also I think Doyle was missing the point that when you have less need   
   to read the whole script when you're playing Mr. Garibaldi, who may   
   have 10 minutes of actual screen time (out of 42) in a given episode,   
   than when you're plaing Cmdr. Sinclair (or Capt. Sheridan), who is on-   
   screen for at least half of most episodes and often much more than   
   that.   
   As a general rule, I don't much like it when actors attack other   
   actors for their approach to their craft.  (Although I did have a   
   certain amount of sympathy for Lord Olivier when he interrupted one of   
   Dustin Hoffman's long-winded paens to The Method by asking, "My dear   
   boy, why don't you just try "acting*?" )
