And Sandy Becker - who hosted Wonderama before Fox did (and who moved
on to his own self-titled show later.) I actually got to attend a
live broadcast of "Wonderama" when Fox was hosting. The show
originated from Freedomland in the Bronx that week (another blast from
the past!) The Four Seasons were the musical guests and basically
played an entire concert between the broadcast numbers and the songs
they did during the commercial breaks.
(The only other time I saw them live they were *also* doing a TV
show. Years later they taped the pilot for a concert/interview/
biography series called "The Star and the Story" - hosted by "Cousin
Brucie" - Bruce Morrow. Yeah, the XO of Babylon 4. The show never
sold, and the pilot only aired once that I know of. Pity I didn't
tape it. Of course, I don't think there were VCRs back then. )
   Regards,
