   I'm didn't have time to check the link, but the headline suggests it's   
   talking about cassowaries.   
   They're some of the big flightless birds of the em-u/ostrich variety,   
   but angry things that don't mind attacking.  They pretty much only   
   live in a small area that was hit directly by the cyclone, so their   
   limited habitate would be damaged and they'd be out and about more,   
   usually they pretty much keep to themselves.
