   I know how you feel; I'm not on Facebook, Twitter, etc. (even my Mom is   
   on Facebook).  I almost joined when a good friend was in a wreck   
   recently (he's still in the ICU), and people were posting updates, but   
   then someone set up a mailing list for updates and a website for info.
