Brian, fyi, I moderate 3 times a day, 99% of the time (and I am not the only
moderator). This week I am hobbled by a wrist brace with a thumb spica (yes,
it's another hand injury for me!), but I still manage to moderate 3 times a
day nearly every single day. Depending upon when you post, sometimes your
new thread can appear in minutes from the time it left your keyboard (Jan
seems to have a good sense of when I moderate; she often manages to get
posted in mere minutes). On the other hand, if you post around midnight
eastern time or later, your post won't appear until the next morning, could
be as late as 9 AM. But sometimes the delay is between your computer and the
modbot, and we can't help that. I just wanted to be sure that you knew that
any kind of unreasonable delay ‹ more than a half a day, certainly ‹ is
generally not on our end. Because we are moderating multiple times a day.
