   More like dimminishing navigation skills are not a good idea.   
      
   geomagnetic disturbances should not affect INS navigation so airliners would   
   not be affected.  My concern is that keeping a dead reckoning plot on the   
   enroute chart prepared by operations used to be manditory!  Not so much any   
   more.
