|    Flying ... high ... in Vancouver BC    |

From Wednesday it is allowed to smoke weed in the smoking areas of Vancouver       Airport, the airport reports. On that day, the Canadian government legalized       the consumption and possession of marijuana.               All forms of smoking are prohibited in the terminal, but in the smoking areas       of Vancouver Airport, joints can also be lit from Wednesday. This liberal       policy does not apply at all Canadian airports: for example, it is nowhere       permitted at Halifax Airport to smoke weed.               Travelers can now carry 30 grams of marijuana on domestic flights. Also in the       hand luggage, so it can smell strange in the cabin. The Canadian government       warns that taking cannabis on flights to foreign destinations, such as       Amsterdam, remains illegal.              --- D'Bridge 3.99 SR33        * Origin: AVIATION ECHO HQ (2:292/854)    |
