Cathay Pacific has started Saturday with a new four-weekly weekly service   
   between Hong Kong and Washington D.C. On the route an Airbus A350-1000 is   
   used, making it the first ultra-long line service for the largest member of   
   the A350 family.   
       
   The flight departed from Hong Kong on Saturday and arrived in the American   
   capital more than fifteen hours later. The return flight was a bit longer: the   
   A350-1000 took 16 hours to cover the 13,000 kilometers between the two cities.
