|    USA open for vaccinted Europeans as of N    |
|    19 Oct 21 23:33:26    |
MSGID: 2:292/854 1b2b2d18       TZUTC: 0200        Since the announcement that the United States will reopen to vaccinated       Europeans a few weeks ago, more and more has become known about the       conditions. What will the entry requirements be? And what is still unclear? An       overview.               First of all, the date: since the end of last week, the specific date on which       the US will open its borders again, namely November 8, has been known. From       then on, citizens of the Schengen countries, the UK, Ireland, China, India,       South Africa, Iran and Brazil are welcome again for a non-essential trip.               As is known, citizens of these countries must be fully vaccinated to enter the       US. Naturally built up immunity doesn't count. It was already clear that       travelers with the Pfizer, Moderna or Janssen vaccines are welcome, because       they are approved by the US FDA.               Now we know that travelers with a vaccine approved by the World Health       Organization (WHO) are also welcome. The CDC has informed the aviation sector       about this. This includes AstraZeneca.               In addition to being fully vaccinated, travelers must also be tested negative.       This test must not be more than three days old at departure. As it stands,       this may be either an antigen or NAAT test (for example, an RT-PCR test).       There is no quarantine requirement after arrival in the US.               What is still unclear is where exactly the age limit will be set for the       vaccination obligation (young children are excluded) and what conditions the       vaccination certificate must meet. The US government has promised to disclose       such details before November 8.               Of course, the normal entry conditions for the US also apply, such as applying       for an ESTA travel authorization.              --- DB4 - Oct 12 2021        * Origin: AVIATION ECHO HQ (2:292/854)       SEEN-BY: 1/123 80/1 90/1 105/81 120/340 123/131 129/305 221/1 226/30       SEEN-BY: 227/702 229/424 426 428 664 700 240/5832 249/317 400 261/38       SEEN-BY: 280/464 282/1038 292/854 8125 301/1 317/3 322/757 335/364       SEEN-BY: 342/200 396/45 633/280       PATH: 292/854 229/426           |
