|    AIRBUS delivers almost 560 aircraft in 2    |

MSGID: 2:292/854 1a0b1255       Airbus was close to delivering 560 aircraft to customers in 2020. Insiders       report this to Bloomberg news agency. The final number delivered before       midnight on December 31st must be determined by means of an audit.               A year earlier, in 2019, the aircraft manufacturer handed over 863 to       customers. The past year can nevertheless be regarded as a success, given that       air traffic has fallen sharply as a result of the outbreak of the corona       pandemic.               Over the past two decades, Boeing and Airbus have been very evenly matched,       but since 2019 it is not even exciting anymore due to the flight ban of the       737 MAX. In addition, Boeing is struggling with quality issues in the       production of the 787.               This year it will be exciting. Although the overall production level at Airbus       remains higher, Boeing still has hundreds of MAXs on the factory premises       waiting to be delivered. To what extent that actually happens also depends on       the recovery of aviation.              --- DB4 - Dec.21 2020        * Origin: AVIATION ECHO HQ (2:292/854)       SEEN-BY: 1/123 80/1 90/1 105/81 120/340 123/131 221/1 226/30 227/702       SEEN-BY: 229/101 424 426 664 1016 240/5832 249/317 400 261/38 280/464       SEEN-BY: 292/854 8125 317/3 322/757 335/364 342/200 396/45 633/280       SEEN-BY: 801/188       PATH: 292/854 229/426           |
