|    Durango repair.    |

It took me longer than expected, but I did manage to complete the Durango       repair today.               I replaced the auxiliary coolant pump and the "Y" style heater hose that goes       to both of the heater cores. Had some trouble getting the one feed       disconnected that went to the rear heater core. It was behind the front       passenger side wheel well. Had to take the wheel and half the spash shield       off to to get it. Had to cut the old one off.               Then the fun of routing the hose around all the stuff and clamping it in       really tight places. Everything seems to be fine now - had to add 2       containers of antifreeze to re-fill it. Also had to "burp" the system by       taking off the bleeder screw. It will take awhile longer to get all the air       out of the rear heater core. Most of the air is out, but I figure it will       take some daily driving to get it all flushed out.               The heat is working and there are no leaks, so I consider that a success.              The rain held off for my work, too.               - Mark               --- WWIVToss v.1.50         * Origin: http://www.weather-station.org * Bel Air, MD -USA (1:261/1304.0)    |
