   That is what I was worried about - but I didn't see anything in AllData other   
   than a C clamp that is on the end of the shaft.  This is for a Mercury Cougar   
   (2000).     
      
   The reason why I am going to replace them for my daughter is the car makes   
   constant noise in the CV axle and when under light accelleration, will shudder   
   at times.  It is like the joints in there are shot.
