   Now you are reminding me of my leaner years as money goes. I used to   
   select my Used Cars from the Consumer Reports "Worst Used Car Buy" list   
   because they were in my price range.   
   I also use to  carried a tool box in the car and even had my own tow bar   
   to rescue the disabled vehicle. Later on when things were better I still   
   continued to buy from the "Worst Car List" and instead of making car   
   payments paid off the house in 15 years instead of 30.
