-> CH> In the past couple of years I've rebuilt a 1988 K5 Blazer...       ->       -> Sounds like a winner.       ->       -> I've been thinking about you ever since I moved to Texas. That is, ev       -> time I drive by this old Chevy truck. It's a 48-52 (center windshield       -> post) and is of the large variety, aka 1 ton. I remember you requesti       -> the whereabouts of one of these for a project you had, a long time       -> ago.              I had some early Chevy trucks. One I got from a brother in law, but I       sold it. The other was a '47 1.5 ton. Just the cab. I put it on a       mid-80's shortened school bus chassis to make a plow truck for my       driveway. Ended up selling it. My neighbor does plowing and it's worth       just paying him.              -> The guy who owns it did some welding for me on a 56 Chevy project a       -> few years ago, which is when I noticed this truck.              Older Chevy trucks are fun projects. I wish I'd taken pictures back       then. Some of the cars I had would be classics today. A 1960       Thunderbird convertible that was a factory standard shift, for example.       Three speed on the column. Never saw another anywhere. Bought from one       of my college instructors around 1969. Sold it not too much later and       kicked myself as it was driven away.              -> CH> Got some pictures and more description at:       -> CH> http://www.craighealy.com/blazer/       ->       -> My browser isn't running at the moment, but I promise I'll take a       -> look at your project pictures.              And I'm always happy to see other people's projects.              -c-              --- ViaMAIL!/WC v1.60d        * Origin: Chowdanet (401-724-4410) telnet://chowdanet.com (1:323/120)    |
