   Most spark plugs will misfire under high compression. The answer to   
   that problem is more ignition power, thus he upgraded his ignition   
   system to help fire under those conditions. But his engine would have   
   dynoed at 750hp on it's own. No spark plug will ADD 750hp to any system.

   Chevrolet's LS7 (427ci, sfi fuel injection, supercharged with factory   
   supplied platinum spark plugs) makes 600+hp on pump gas, with no misfire's   
   under load, as the ignition system is designed to make that kind of HP   
   and it doesn't need $12 spark plugs to do it.
