RW> It's about 45k past due for plugs and wires. If it's running on all cyl,       RW> then the coils are probably just fine...If it's a V8, I don't envy you       RW> the       RW> cost of putting 16 spark plugs in it. Dunno if they double plugged the 6       RW> cyl engine or not.              I need to install the car monitoring program on my tablet/netbook and drive       around to make sure there are no "soft codes".              I took the idle air control sensor out today and gave it a good cleaning with       carb cleaner. I had replaced it a few years ago - but it did have some       buildup on it. I also cleaned some of the throttle body. It seems to idle       fine now, but we will see if it lasts.               I just checked, and it says the 2001 Durango V8 has 8 spark plugs. It doesn't       look like it would be difficult if it wasn't for the fact that two of them are       under a bunch of other things (which would have to be removed).              - Mark              --- WWIVToss v.1.50         * Origin: http://www.weather-station.org * Bel Air, MD -USA (1:261/1304.0)    |
