|    Odd rumble in Durango solved.    |
|    17 Mar 12 09:44:06    |
The mechanic shop that replaced my motor found the problem with the Durango       rumble strip sound when braking (which later started to be all the time).               Turns out, it was the U-joint that is between the drive shaft and the rear       axle. They replaced that and the problem is solved.              Now my wife told me it stalled at a light yesterday. I really think it is       time for a tuneup (145k miles with original plugs). Since the Durango doesn't       have a distributor, I'm not sure if I want to tackle changing the coil packs -       or whatever they are called.              - Mark               --- WWIVToss v.1.50         * Origin: http://www.weather-station.org * Bel Air, MD -USA (1:261/1304.0)    |
