|    A new odd problem.    |

I have been scratching my head on trying to figure this one out.              My wife's 2001 Durango has been having an intermittant odd feeling vibration       when hitting the brakes at 40mph. It isn't warped rotors - it doesn't shake       the steering wheel. It is more like driving over rumble strips type of       vibration and sound.              I had taken it to get new tires and they tryed to figure out the problem, but       it didn't happen enough for them to troubleshoot.              I'm thinking maybe swaybar bushings, engine mounts, or something to that       effect. Visually, the only thing I see is a possible weak swap bar link (the       rubber part is not tight around the sway bar) on the passenger side.              Any idea/suggestions welcome.              Thanks.              - Mark               --- WWIVToss v.1.50         * Origin: http://www.weather-station.org * Bel Air, MD -USA (1:261/1304.0)    |
