JH> I know this isn't really automotive but since my transition from Maryland       JH> to Massachusetts, I've noticed some interesting differences. Both states       JH> are equally expensive to live in but perhaps Maryland was not so bad       JH> after all. There is a local excise tax on cars here. I think it's like              There is only one state that is northeast of Maryland that has less government       and less taxes. That is Delaware. Sales tax is 0%. It is worth the 40       minute drive up there for me when buying big items.              JH> and admires the scenery. Only thing I really miss are my HID headlights.       JH> There are no projector lenses for the Ford standard reflectors, but I       JH> found a kit to retrofit in the Ford housing using morimoto mini       JH> projectors that allow you to put in the xenon bulbs and focus them       JH> without killing oncoming drivers. The only way to do this is to do it              The only thing on headlights that annoys me is the certain ones that get that       yellow haze and fog over. I did find a really great kit for fixing that,       however. 3M has a kit that will basically grind off that layer and make them       sparkle and be clear again.               I did this to both our Durango and my daughter's old car. Mine doesn't suffer       from this problem, thankfully. My Monte Carlo headlights look as good as they       did when I bought it.              Not sure why some headlights do that, unless they are being made in China.              - Mark              --- WWIVToss v.1.50         * Origin: http://www.weather-station.org * Bel Air, MD -USA (1:261/1304.0)    |
