RW> That's where I took mine; Texas State University @ San Marcos...              I took mine at Harford Community College.              RW> About the same here. Shared the grounds on seperate courses with a HD       RW> dealer. They were riding Buells...              We had little Honda 500s. They made us ride with gloves - which I was not       used to.               RW> Had to take a written at the TMV, but the riding test at UT was accepted       RW> as passing the state riding test.              We were able to take the written and riding test at the college. Just went to       the MVA to get the modified license.              RW> I've never been comfortable riding on public roads. I've seen too many       RW> car/motorcycle accidents to feel safe amidst the morons who drive cages       RW> without any regard for two wheelers. I'm more cautious on the bike than I       RW> am driving my truck.              I am way more cautious when on the motorcycle than in any vehicle. Not just       looking for other drivers, but animals.               We have many deer around here. In the fall, it is their mating season and       they tend to be way more active. I can't drive on a road to work without       seeing a dead one on the side of the road that was hit by a vehicle.               RW> We had a youngster who had a crotch rocket before he took the class. He       RW> ended up crashing it before the end of the class...dunno what happened to       RW> him after that.              One of the guys in my class failed the riding test. He went back the       following week for a re-test, and failed again. Went back a third time and       failed a third time. To my knowledge, he never passed - but not sure if he       rides anyway.              - Mark              --- WWIVToss v.1.50         * Origin: http://www.weather-station.org * Bel Air, MD -USA (1:261/1304.0)    |
