RW> On Wednesday it was mid 70s here. I spent the day blowing and mulching       RW> leaves. Would have liked to finish up the Malibu, but the leaves were       RW> more       RW> pressing than the Malibu. We close the shop at the end of January and I       RW> either need to get over there and finish it, or load it up on my trailer       RW> and bring it home. It should be easier to work on it in the warm sunshine       RW> than it is to do so in a cold, cold garage.              We keep going back and forth from the 50s-60s to the 20s-30s depending on the       day. It is easier to work in the warm sunshine vs. cold garage.               I have opted to work on my car outside in the driveway vs. the garage in the       winter at times due to that. I did purchase a small portable heater for the       garage last year. I replaced a wheel bearing on the Monte Carlo in the garage       using the nice heater by my side. Made the job much more pleasant.               RW> Wow, that's pretty price too. I like that switch idea...              The switch with separate relay was made by the same company. It keeps you       from having to wire the lights to the headlight. In some conditions, that can       cause too much draw - plus you can't turn them on/off. They are on with the       headlight.               This way, they are on a separate feed directly to the battery, plus they can       be controlled by themselves.              RW> Even though they have an extra layer of fat to insulate them.              I'm working on that extra layer, too. :)              RW> I have a clamp on windshield that makes cold day riding a bit more       RW> comfortable...              I could have used a clamp on winshield the one autumn when I rode to Ocean       City, MD. It was both cold and raining. Not a real pleasant ride for 2 1/2       hours.               - Mark              --- WWIVToss v.1.50         * Origin: http://www.weather-station.org * Bel Air, MD -USA (1:261/1304.0)    |
