He didn't last longer than a day       or two there and passed. I think mom bought a 19" table top model then.               RW>> I never wanted to be rich, just comfortable with nothing owed to        RW>> anybody.        RW>>        RW>> We're free and clear except for a mortgage and the nice mortgage        RW>> holder got bought up by Wells Fargo and I hate those people. I was impressed that        MH> they were one of the only banks that allows the mortgage acceleration        MH> program - and doesn't charge you for it.              My wife had a seperate account from my business account at Wells Fargo. I       had co-signed for her, since she was previously bouncing from bank to       bank. When she wrote a check that she couldn't cover, they deducted it       from my account. When I dropped in the bank and asked that they put the       money back in my account, they weren't too happy about it and froze my       account. This was on a 4th of July weekend and I couldn't access the       account with my ATM card...I was so mad at the guy who did that, I thought       about going to the bank with an assault rifle in hand to close my       account, sitting at his desk until it was done. Cooler heads prevailed and       I close d it from another bank with a wire transfer, leaving them holding       a $30 dollar outstanding check.               MH> There are plenty of other banks that I despise (BoA).              I've dealt with them too. They're alright, as long as you keep you       statements up to date. They have funny ways of manipulating accounts and       costs.               MH> A few years ago, things got ugly in my dealings with one of my old        MH> lenders (Amtrust Bank). They had been taken over by the FDIC and        MH> were holding up my refi. Once I talked to the right person there,        MH> the paperwork was done by the next morning.              Last month I got into an arguement with a WF representative who had called       me (on the 17th) because my mortgage payment was late. They claimed that       my payment was due on the 1st and I told her that I would never had agreed       to that because the funds I use to pay the mortgage don't get deposited       into my bank account until the 2nd Wednesday of every month.              I specifically recall negotiating the due date to be the 15th with World       Savings & Loan, the mortgage company that Wacovia bought out. I guess that       got cast aside when WF bought up Wacovia this year.                      R\%/itt                      ,,,By the time you find greener pastures, you can't climb the fence!              --- Twit(t) Filter v2.1 (C) 2000-10        * Origin: SATX Alamo Area Net * South * Texas, USA * (1:387/22)    |
