RW> I didn't want to be a clock mechanic anyway... 8^)              Not a real high demand for clock mechanics, either.. :)              RW> I'm familiar with that shocking bit. My dad always bought the same name       RW> brand TVs because they had a lid that allowed him to access those tubes.       RW>        RW> Dunno why as the TV worked perfectly, but he had the back off making some       RW> kind of adjustment and he got slammed up against the wall behind him...he       RW> had touched that big fat wire that feeds the CRT and it gave him quite       RW> the       RW> wallop.              I remember those large TVs with the huge tubes. We still had one when I was       in my teens (in the 80s). It worked great on the 5-8 channels that we could       pickup with the antenna. :)               RW> I never wanted to be rich, just comfortable with nothing owed to anybody.       RW>        RW> We're free and clear except for a mortgage and the nice mortgage holder       RW> got bought up by Wells Fargo and I hate those people. If they harrass me       RW> one more time about my payment being late (it's due on the 15th and       RW> always mailed by the 10th), I'm going to pay off this place and get them       RW> out of my life.              I have never had any problems with Wells Fargo. I was impressed that they       were one of the only banks that allows the mortgage acceleration program - and       doesn't charge you for it.               There are plenty of other banks that I despise (BoA).               A few years ago, things got ugly in my dealings with one of my old lenders       (Amtrust Bank). They had been taken over by the FDIC and were holding up my       refi. Once I talked to the right person there, the paperwork was done by the       next morning.              - Mark              --- WWIVToss v.1.50         * Origin: http://www.weather-station.org * Bel Air, MD -USA (1:261/1304.0)    |
