   You win some and you lose some.  :)  Not everything I have tried to repair was   
   a success.  Many items ended up in the trash.   
      
   I did have luck with an old color TV that my parents had in the trash.  I   
   pulled it out of the can when I was 16, and after being shocked several times   
   while working on it (damn tubes), was able to get it working again.  I have no   
   idea how, but it started working.

   Me too.  We would all be rich and retired early if we could predict the   
   future.  I would have done the 90s .com's, get out of the stock market in late   
   1999, buy loads of houses, sell all them in 2004.  Then buy oil stocks.  Sell   
   all them and buy gold.
