On my rare "free time", I would rather read some of my        MH> "Network Rags" or learn something on cars, home improvement, or        MH> anything that involved fixing or tinkering with things.               MH> When I was in first grade, I took apart my clock radio just because I        MH> was dying to figure out how it "turned the numbers". It was one of        MH> those old style ones that has the numbers flip. I have this thing        MH> where I want to understand how everything works.              I took a clock apart once. It wasn't working and I wanted to know if I       could fix it. It ended up in the trash.              When I was about 10, I took the Bendix brakes apart on my bicycle and lost       track of where everything was supposed to go. My dad arrived home from       work while I was still at it and I asked him for help. He wanted to know       who took it apart and when I said that I did, he told me that I should       know how to put it back together again. I got it back together and working       properly, but I never asked him for help with anything mechanical again.              Ask me about my experiences with my 55 Crown Victoria sometime after the       new year.               RW>> there. My oldest daughter       and her family live off to the east of here in Conroe. He's an aircraft       mechanic working for Contental Airlines in Houston and she's a Pharmacist       in Houston was well. Then there is Andrew, a nephew who moved here from       San Diego to take care of his grandfather, his mother's dad.               MH> Fortunately, I live in a county that is about 75% conservative.              This county is about 90% conservative, but Conroe isn't, nor is Houston.               RW>> Just saw an ad for a 71" HDTV on TV...tempting. A holodeck would be        RW>> an interesting toy, if it came with a time machine too.               MH> Holodeck with a time machine could be dangerous. Lots of things I        MH> would like to go back and stop from happening.. :)              Lots of things I'd like to go back and collect...my 56 Chevy, when it was       brand new...gold when it was less than $40/oz, etc...                      R\%/itt                      ,,,By the time you find greener pastures, you can't climb the fence!              --- Twit(t) Filter v2.1 (C) 2000-10        * Origin: SATX Alamo Area Net * South * Texas, USA * (1:387/1)    |
