Is that and oldie!).              It's a fresh rebuild, so there shouldn't be any blockage. If I recall       correctly, it was a new long block assy. This is just something that is       considered to be normal for the side-winder engines built by Chevy.               RN> I've been away from this stuff longer than Roy, but I'm a pretty good        RN> guesser. (-:              FYI, I'm still in it, just can't perform the intensive labor I could just       5 years ago when I R&Red the front end of my 56 Chevy and swapped it to       front disc brakes and put rack and pinion steering on it. Then put an       overdrive automatic in it, rebuilt most of the 71 Nova rearend that was       under it and R&Red the gas tank. To no avail, I have a new one for it,       just need the time to get under it and do it.              Getting healthy-eer though...I'll be drag-racing this spring. The Malibu       is almost done. Maybe tomorrow, or the next warm day. It has a fresh 350       engine w/Lunati cam, about 10.5:1 compression, TH350 trans built for drag       racing and a Buick GN rear, 8.5" w/posi and 4.30:1 gears under it. It only       took a year to do all of that.               R\%/itt                      ,,,By the time you find greener pastures, you can't climb the fence!              --- Twit(t) Filter v2.1 (C) 2000-10        * Origin: SATX Alamo Area Net * South * Texas, USA * (1:387/1)    |
